Algarve Salsa Academy

Internationally recognized Latin and African dance school in the Algarve, founded by Lino Nunes—one of the region’s salsa pioneers.

We blend fun, comfort, and quality instruction across beautiful studio settings. Offering:

Group classes are energetic, sociable, and cost-effective:

  • Start from absolute beginner level, progress through structured levels with each class.
  • Salsa: dynamic fusion rhythm rooted in Son, Mambo, Rumba and more.
  • Bachata: romantic, foot‑and‑hip focused dance from the Dominican Republic — includes traditional and Sensual styles
  • Kizomba: slow, sensual Angolan partner dance focused on connection

Café Latino — Your Sunday Latin Escape

Every first Sunday of the month, afternoon, dance lovers from all over Algarve gather at Café Latino for a unique social experience. From 15:00 to 19:00, enjoy the rhythms of Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba in a relaxed, friendly setting at Casa do Povo da Conceição de Faro.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer, Café Latino is the perfect place to connect, practice, and enjoy the magic of Latin music — always with great energy and warm community vibes.
